We went to Zurich again, Dad had some new Zwingli information. I think its fun walking around cities, and fortunately it didn’t rain. So it was very nice, but my best part was when we went to the Lindor chocolate store. Just walking down the street to it you could smell the chocolate, so strong you could smell it from across the street! We bought a ton and it made my day! Next we went to the music store and Dad & Thomas looked at their dream guitars. Easy day just walking around the city. Didn’t take many pictures, mostly because we been there like five times already and I’ve taken various shots of mostly everything. Were getting good at navigating through the city, or I should say Dad is. Hes starting to be able to go off memory, though we still rely on Maggie the GPS. We are no longer driving on to train tracks, but we do seem to go out when there’s a lot of traffic, which is not so fun but Dad manages well. I think we only have three weeks left here which is kinda sad, but we all miss Copper very much so it will be nice to see her, oh and we miss you all at home too but mainly Copper. Not sure where our next trip will be too, Dad likes the day trips. He thinks when we go to France and Wittenburg, we’ll take the train and then rent a car, that will be nice for him to not have to drive. Not much else to say.
So we took a trip to Geneve, did the Calvin stuff, but unfortunately we did not get to go white-water rafting due to the rain. That was kinda a bummer, but it was out of our control. Then we drove to Zurich so Dad could do a watch workshop. Mom, Caleb, & I sat in McDonalds waiting for Thomas and Dad to get out. So it wasn’t the most fun of days, but it didn’t bother me to much. I’ll keep putting pictures up.
Right now I’m sitting watching a John Calvin documentary, not by choice of course. We took a family vote on who wanted to watch it- 4 against and 1 for and yet Dad’s one vote over-ruled our 4..please explain to me how that works out. But then we are watching Hogens Hero’s, Dad bought all 6 seasons. Its surprisingly kinda funny for an older TV show. Not much else going on, but do pray for my uncle David not really sure whats going on but hes sick…not good!

Well for the past couple days we’ve just been resting, its weird not having anything on our agenda. But we decided to go for a little trip to Geneve, Switzerland, mainly because Dad is into the Reformaion theme. We been to all the Zwingli stuff, hes read a Zwingli biography bigger than the bible, and now hes on to Calvin. So here we are in Geneve, visiting all the churchs and other randoms. Next hes on to Luther, look out Wittenburg here we come (argg). Well I have not been so thrilled to visit church after church, it makes Dad happy but Thomas and I really wanted to go jump in Lake Geneve, so today we were a little restless as we went to all the sites..but tomorrow we go to white-water rafting!! I’m so exited, my mom calls me a fish because I can spend all day in the water. Though we are staying in France, were not going to all the places like Paris yet, were going to wait and do tha by train, I think. But overall summary of the day, we spent 4 hours walking about Calvin’s churchs and other places, after that out of homesickness went to McDonalds. We have learned that there is no real plan for the roads (as far a we can tell) they just twist and turn and its very hard to navigate, but dad does just fine. As we were roaming Calvin’s place, Dad found a book/gift shop..it was no joke like a fat kid in a candy store..he just lit up and bought like 10 books, but then Dad was looking at something and a man walked up and asked him to take his picture. Turns out hes from Colardo on Sabbitcal and into the reformation stuff…lets set up a play date! Any hoo, not much else to say we bought some staff gifts and now were just resting…
